This full-color, hardback book by children's author Karen Petit is the first in the "Lady Louise" Book Series, which stars Lady Louise who is traveling the world to impart manners and kindness to children and adults. As the first Poodle-In-Waiting to Beloved Queen on the Land of PoodleLoo, Lady Louise enjoys seeing all of the people who come to visit their castle. But Lady Louise decides that she wants to travel the world, too, and experience new places.

Beloved Queen learns of Lady Louise's desire to travel from the PoodleLoo Travel Office and immediately appoints Prince Brother as her sweet poodle's travel friend.

Before she goes on her travels, Lady Louise visits her Mother, the Loveliest Lady Cecile, to talk about the manners that she will need in her travels and what it means to be a lady in today's world. Lady Louise realizes that "as the face of PoodleLoo" that she will have an enormous responsibility to be kind, to learn from other people and pets and to know the manners of the places where she visits. She wants to put her best paw and face forward to the world!

This is a delightful, modern-day fairy tale starring a beautiful dog who has a kind heart. She takes the manners that she has learned from her Mother and Beloved Queen and applies them to situations in her travels and adventures.

The charming, whimsical illustrations are by renowned poodle artist Maureen Broussalian.

Each book in the series features small chapters that can be read to children ages 3 - 6 or read by children ages 7 - 9.
